PLUG is on a mission to reconnect the world forward through collaboration & people driven innovation. When our client came to us, the product was already built in in beta phase. Before launching, our client wanted to make sure the current version was suitanle to go live. After reviewing the version and layout of the mockups, there were many usablity errors. 1 out of 5 users know how to add infomration to their profile. Once they did find the profile, the input fields asked for content that didn't resinate with the user.
We implemented a UX management system to conduct research, gather insights, brain storm solutions and prototype the2.0 version of the application. We were able to also redesign the onboarding experience to be more open for first time users.
After testing the new designs, 5 out of 5 users were able to access their profile settings and onboard seamlessly on to the application. The app currently has 3000+ users.
